Jobless Claims Drop Again

This morning, weekly Jobless Claims dropped to 445K, below the consensus forecast of 455K, and the lowest level since July 10. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, fell to 456K. The Dow is up 10 points. No more economic data will be released today. MBS prices are up +3/32 (FNMA 30-yr 4.0 at 103.18), which is about 11/32 higher than yesterday at this time. The 30-yr fixed FNMA required net yield (60 day) is now at 3.71%, from 3.74% yesterday. Early investors may have priced at lower levels.
