Refi Index Jumps

MBA Mortgage Applications increased 4.1% past week; purchases were down 9.1% and the Refi index jumped 8%. After import prices printed unexpectedly higher yesterday, PPI also increased more than expectations in the release this morning. Currently, the Ten Year yield is at 2.24% (2.28% yesterday) and the 2-10 yield spread is at 205bps, flattening 4bps since yesterday morning.
